SETH ROBINSON
Artistic Director
SETH ROBINSON, originally from Indiana is a graduate of Ball State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Dance. Since graduation Seth has been directing and teaching at TRIBE Dance, a traveling dance intensive he founded in 2011 for dancers looking for an extra push. In addition to TRIBE, Seth is also co-director of BALLET MATTERS, a ballet-focused in-studio intensive designed to facilitate maximum technical growth for dancers. These events travel to dance studios across the country for a weekend of intense training in an intimate setting with Seth & his diverse team of professional dance educators.
After graduation, Seth moved to Chicago where he danced with Elements Contemporary Ballet, guested with Chicago Dance Crash, and trained extensively at Visceral Dance Center.
In 2015, Seth was hired as Faculty member to tour nationally with REVEL Dance Convention as well as The Streetz Dance Convention. Robinson is going into his 7th season with Streetz. Seth has had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United States dancing, teaching, and setting choreography for many pre-professional and competitive companies.
In 2019, Seth and his husband Jeff Wolfe opened THE HIVE, a Chicago based creative dance hub that offers drop-in based training for adults and youth. With over a decade of experience with traveling and choreographing for studios around the US, Seth started his own elite competitive team, THE COLONY. Pouring his passion for artistry and excellence through his experience and knowledge into young aspiring professionals is something that brings Seth great joy.
recently, Seth was featured as a dancer on Netflix’s ‘Soundtrack’ (Episode 8, Season1- Choreographer:James Aslop) and performed for Kanye West during his Chicago Listening Party for DONDA at Soldier Field Stadium.

JEFF WOLFE
Executive Director
Jeff Wolfe, originally from Clearwater, Florida, received the start of his ballet training through the Academy of Ballet Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida followed by the prestigious Houston Ballet Academy in Texas, where he joined their second company for a season. Jeff spent the following four seasons dancing with the union ballet company, BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio. After this time, Wolfe joined the Nationally touring jazz company, River North Dance Chicago for two seasons. He then danced for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines on the Oasis of the Seas. Jeff spent the majority of the next decade freelancing within the United States and Canada. During this time he danced in leading roles with many ballet, jazz, contemporary, and modern companies including Montgomery Ballet (Soloist), Eugene Ballet Company (Principal), Ron De Jesus Dance, Jose Navas Dance Compagnie, Owen/Cox Dance Group, and Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance. In 2013 Jeff began transitioning into master teaching many technique-focused styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and modern. Wolfe has been a master teacher over the past decade in convention settings such as EPIC Dance Weekend, Dance Fever, and The Streetz Dance Convention and Competition. Jeff currently owns two separate dance studios in Chicago, IL with his husband. THE HIVE Studios, an adult-only creative dance hub, and DANCE COLONY Studios, a youth-focused dance studio geared to elite dancers from all backgrounds. He also continues to co-direct two national dance in-studio intensives TRIBE DANCE and BALLET MATTERS since 2016.
